Good day, Readers! Everything appears to be in place for Netflix’s next romantic comedy, Good on Paper, to premiere this summer on the streaming site. Iliza Shlesinger, a stand-up comedian who rose to prominence after winning Season 6 of the NBC competitive reality show Last Comic Standing in 2008, wrote and stars in the film.
Kimmy Gatewood, another stand-up comedian and a cast member on Netflix’s GLOW, will make her directorial debut with Good on Paper.

Fans of Iliza Shlesinger won’t have to guess when they’ll be able to see her in the film she authored, which will premiere on Netflix on June 23, 2021.

The Plot of the Movie:
The film Good on Paper follows comedian Andrea Singer as she awakens to the possibility of lonely life and resolves to alter it as soon as possible.
Andrea Singer has spent most of her adult life fantasizing about her work and establishing a name for herself in the business world. It wasn’t like she was shy or didn’t have any dates lined up. Love, on the other hand, was not in the cards and never materialized.
Andrea, on the other hand, lets her guard down when she meets a funny nerd with a lovely demeanor. He seemed to reach her in a way that no one else has. Andrea’s buddy is convinced he is the one and encourages Andrea to consider love and a future with Dennis.
But Andrea would not do so until she was certain about Dennis. She sets out on a journey to discover who Dennis is and whether he is too wonderful to be true.

Andrea is played by Iliza Shlesinger, and Dennis is played by Ryan Hansen. Margaret Cho and Rebecca Rittenhouse also have roles in the film. Shlesinger also writes the story, which is based primarily on her own life experiences. Matt McGorry, Matt McGorry, and Taylor Hill are the other characters whose names have been confirmed.
