The Google Pixel 3 duo launch is barely 2 days away and we already know most of the things about the device. Now, adding to the same, we have two different reports which confirm some of the things about the device including its features and pricing.
The first piece of credible information about the pricing and some key features comes from a UK carrier’s leaked brochure while the second batch of information comes from a Hong Kong-based website who has reviewed the Pixel 3 along with its camera comparison with the new iPhone XS.
Hey, speaking of @madebygoogle.
Enjoy this "leak" straight from us. Was gonna wait until tonight's show, but f**k it.

The leaked brochure reads out a short text that describes three key features of the new Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. The first one is camera-related and called as “Top Shot” by the company which allows you to take the perfect shot – no blinks, just smiles. Also, reminiscent to the “super-selfie mode” feature teased by Google on its Instagram handle, the phone will be equipped with a wide-angle front-facing camera (there are two cameras of course) for capturing group selfies barring the use of Selfie stick.
Another feature revealed by the carrier’s ad is the Active Edge feature that we saw on the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2XL using which one can squeeze the edges of the device to trigger the Google’s Assistant and also access the Google Lens camera feature. Furthermore, one can enable the Flip to DND mode as per his/her convenience i.e. flipping the phone face down will result in DND (Do Not Disturb) mode being turned on.
Interestingly, it also reads out the contract based pricing of Pixel 3 to be £58 each month with £10 upfront cost. If we assume this to be a two-year contract with no cost EMI, the final price of the device turns out to be £706 (around Rs. 60,000). On the other hand, it is £63 installment each month and £20 upfront for the Pixel 3XL summing to a total price of £766 (around Rs. 65,000). Further, we have some words about the 3rd generation Chromecast, Google Home Mini and Google Home Hub in the same.
Coming to the review by Unwire.hk, one can clearly see the potential of single lens on Pixel compared to the iPhone XS Max in low light images. The Pixel 3 simply slays of the iPhone XS Max when it comes to the light balance, dynamic range, low light photography and of course in details and sharpness. You can take a look at the few images below.
You can read the review using Google Translate if you want. Also, altogether someone in Hong Kong has already bought a Pixel 3 XL smartphone from the store and posted a few photos online.
The new Pixels are one of the most leaked devices which are bought by people even way ahead of the official launch. Anyways, let us wait for the official launch on 9th of October, 8:30 PM IST to see what the software giant is actually planning to do.
