Google Pixel 3 XL

The Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are barely two weeks away from official launch on 9th of October and we have already witnessed tons of leaks regarding both the upcoming Google flagships. Google has recently teased the phone on its official website followed by the leaked renders showcasing new White and Black color options. Now, we have a full hands-on video of the elder Pixel 3 XL which tells us the major differences over the Pixel 2 XL.

Remember that seller who was selling the Pixel 3 XL for $2000 on Telegram? Well, one of the Russian YouTuber Rozetked uploaded a full hands-on video in high resolution explaining the design of the Pixel 3 XL, additionally, he has also compared the device with its predecessor.

Have a look at the video below:

In his video, Rozetked mentions that the form factor and design hasn’t changed much. The Pixel 3 XL is of the same size to the Pixel 2 XL and rather sports a larger display, welcomed by that huge ugly notch that houses dual front cameras and earpiece cum secondary speaker.

He also pointed out the fact that the camera module on the former is slightly more protruded than the aforementioned, making it wobble even more when kept on flat surfaces. The main thing he revealed is that the new Pixel bears “a new awesome vibration system” which is on par or maybe even superior to the Taptic engine on Apple iPhones.

Furthermore, he exclaimed that the display has improved a lot compared to what we saw last year, also, the single-camera unsurprisingly beats the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and the iPhone XS out of the competition grounds. There is also a possibility that Google might launch a Pixel Ultra edition with an almost edge-to-edge display having no bezels.

The Pixel 3 duo will come in three color options including Black and White color options. Both the devices will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC along with an Adreno 630 GPU and 4GB of RAM. A recent listing on JD.com suggests the Pixel 3’s price to be around 53K INR. Barring the rumors, let us wait for the official launch scheduled on 9th of October. Till then, stay tuned.
