Created by Phil Augusta Jackson, Grand Crew is an American television sitcom. It was premiered with two “sneak episodes” on NBC on December 14, 2021.

Jackson is also the executive producer alongside Dan Goor, Matthew Nodella, Charla Lauriston, and Lamar Woods. In May 2022, the series was renewed for a second season.

So, when is the second season releasing? What is the plot? Who will come back to reprise their roles? Keep reading to know further details.

Grand Crew Plot and Cast

The series has followed a non-linear plot as more focus has been placed on the jokes and the drama instead of slow progressive development. With this in mind, a second season has not been announced yet, and therefore, no plot for the second season is official.

Should NBC decide to commission one, the second season will likely follow the same trajectory as the first, with the showrunners focusing on developing the characters. Everyone’s life on the crew will receive some focus as the show pursues the decisions and mistakes made by the crew members. The second season will likely dive deeper into the crew’s lives by highlighting their past and any events that influenced the formation of crucial aspects of each member’s character.

The official cast of Grand Crew has not been revealed but barring any significant changes, the cast from the first season will reprise their roles. Sherm, Wyatt, Noah, Antony, and Alicia will likely be played by the same actors as the first season unless something significant changes.

Grand Crew Season 2 Release Date

In addition, NBC usually renews its comedies, and Grand Crew will likely follow the same path. Grand Crew has been renewed for a second season by NBC on May 12, 2022.

The first season of Grand Crew aired from December 14, 2021 to March 8, 2022. In the two months since the renewed announcement, no news regarding a possible release date has been revealed.
