Growing Up: Release Date, Plot, Cast and more!

Growing up is an upcoming hybrid docuseries that focuses on the lives of individuals who are presently aged 18-22 years. They narrate the experiences of their once-lived and sustained teenage years, the days which go by in discovering one’s identity and self. The series owns its executive production credits to Nicole Galovski, Brie Larson, Raeshem Nijhon, and Carri Twigg. Keep reading to know more.

Growing Up: Plot and Cast

The docu-series sheds light on the complexities, challenges, and ultimately the resulting triumphs experienced during adolescence, as narrated by the recently turned young adults. The coming-of-age stories bring together and put up an array of experiences that are not merely lived but have been confronted and sustained by the narrators. The engaging, emotional band powerful tales depict the scenarios of teenagehood along with the variety of familial, social, and natural, internal hindrances that are faced by the young souls as they set out in search of acceptance and self-discovery. The personal interviews of the narrators in each episode justify why they are named the “hero”s. Along with the interviews, the show will involve creative reenactments to bring the inflection points of the heroes to life.

Growing Up releases on September 8, 2022, Thursday, on Disney+. The show comprises ten episodes, each with a runtime of approximately thirty minutes.
