Grown-ish Season 3 and 4: Release Date, Cast, Plot and more!

Grown-ish is a sitcom series and a spin-off to the ABC series Black-ish. The series has been created by Kenya Barris and Larry Wilmore. They are also the creators of Black-ish. The series has been produced by Khalabo Ink Society, Wilmore Films, Cinema Gypsy Productions and Principato-Young Entertainment. Anthony Anderson, Brian Dobbins and Helen Sugland are the executive producers of the show. Grown-ish has been distributed by Disney-ABC Domestic Television.

The first season of the show had 13 episodes followed by a second season with 21 episodes. The second season was divided into two parts. The first 11 episodes premiered at the starting of the show and the remaining 11 episodes premiered later. The show has received positive reviews from the audience. It has also received a decent feedback from the audience. Grown-ish has an approval rating of 94% on Rotten Tomatoes and it has scored 71 out of 100 on Metacritic.

Release Date of Grown-ish Season 3 and 4

Grown-ish was renewed for a third season by Freeform in February 2019. Fans of the show will be happy to know that the third season premiered on 16th January 2020 with eight episodes. The rest of the episodes were set to premiere soon but was delayed because of the Covid-19 pandemic. The remaining nine episodes premiered on 21st January 2021. Talking about Season 4, it was already renewed on January 2020 but was delayed as a result of the pandemic. Since Season 3 has recently concluded, we can expect Season 4 sometime in 2022.

Cast of Grown-ish Season 3 and 4

There have been a few changes in the appearances of the cast members of the show. The usual lead cast of Grown-ish includes Yara Shahidi., Trevor Jackson, Francia Raisa, Emily Arlook, Jordan Buhat, Chloe Bailey and Luka Sabbat. Dean Cole was seen in a leading role as Professor Charlie Telphy. But he has been seen doing only a guest appearance in Season 3. Diggy Simmons had a recurring role as Douglas Frederick “Doug” Edwards. He appeared in a lead role in Season 3. The lead cast might possibly return in Season 4. Any changes have not been announced yet.

Plot of Grown-ish Season 3 and 4

Season 3 of Grown-ish has been highly successful and we got to see a lot of things towards the end of Season 3. We saw Zoey breaking up with CalU to completely focus on her career. Zoey and Aaron were then seen locking lips with each other. Zoey and Luca are also becoming close. Nomi revealed that she was pregnant in the season premiere and left CalU to figure out what she have to do. We also saw Jazz asking her boyfriend Doug for a small break. Season 4 will continue directly after these events and other things are yet to be unveiled by the makers of the show.
