The SEGA Genesis classic Gynoug (also known as Wings of Wor) is coming back! It will be relaunched within a week to PS4, Xbox one and Nintendo Switch by Ratalaika Games.

Gameplay:

In this Japanese shmup classic, you get to face evil creatures as a winged soldier. Firstly, in an era between the Middle Ages and the early modern period, you are the hero. Further, a virus hits your planet Iccus and transforms into various grotesque creatures. The leader of all these creatures and the boss itself is the DESTROYER!

DESTROYER

You being the angel Wor or the ‘ winged soldier ‘ stands up for the survival of the entire planet, and head to Iccus to prevent the spread of the evil spirit. From the deepest mythical caverns of Iccus to the belly of the beast, you have to fly and fight for the life of your planet! Moreover, you have to take control of Wor and after that, shoot down every grotesque enemy in your path. Going through all the levels and gaining victory you reach the final battle with the destroyer. And to save the planet, the destroyer must be defeated. In conclusion, destroy the DESTROYER to save the planet!

Wor

In total six levels of Do or Die action, you have to basically annihilate every challenger. Basically, everything that stands against the future of Iccus.
