Halo is an upcoming live-action series and is coming soon on Showtime. The idea for this series was announced many years ago and it has been under development for a long time. This show is based on a series of video games of the same name. It is managed and developed by 343 Industries, a division of Xbox studios. Halo was originally developed by Bungee Studios. The series is directed by Otto Bathurst and produced by Steven Spielberg, Kyle Killen, and Bathurst.

The games gained huge popularity worldwide because of which the franchise was extended to other media. The franchise now includes best-selling novels, graphic novels, comic books, short movies, animated movies, and feature films. This is the first time they are venturing into the world of TV!
Who Will We See In Season 1 Of Halo?
Season one of the series will portray Pablo Schreiber as Master Chief, Natasha McElhone as Cortana, and Dr. Catherine Halsey(yes, you read that right she plays two roles in the series). We will also get to see Bokeem Woodbine as Soren-006, Shabana Azmi as Admiral Margaret Parangosky. The names of three Spartans have also been released. They are Spartan Kai-125 played by Kate Kennedy, Spartan Riz-028 played by Natasha Culzac and Spartan Vannak- 134 by Bentley Kalu.
Other cast members include Yerin Ha as Kwan Ha, Danny Sapani as Captain Jacob Keyes, Olive Gray as Dr. Miranda Keyes, and Charlie Murphy as Makee.
The entire ensemble of Halo looks very promising and exciting! Fans are super excited to see them on screen.
When Will Halo Hit The TV Screens?
The season 1 of Halo will be released on Showtime in the first half of 2021. According to sources, the TV series began production in Budapest in the latter half of 2019. Halo is a series with huge effects and hence post-production will take a long time! The series is said to have somewhere between 9 to 10, hour-long episodes.
What Is The Possible Storyline Of Halo?
Halo is a science fiction series set in the future and it is not fantasy. According to Showtime, we will be able to see a conflict between humans and an alien community, Covenant. Another speculation that’s been doing the rounds is that a part of the story could talk about Chief’s origins and his enlistment in the Spartan program. The story could also focus on the Halo rings or an adaptation of the Halo novels.
The biggest challenge for the team is to create something that fans already know and love, yet something new and exciting!
