Developed by Kyle Killen and Steven Kane, Halo is an upcoming American military science fiction television series. It is based on the video game franchise of the same name.

The show is produced by Amblin Television and directed by Otto Bathurst, Jonathan Linesman, M.J Bassett, Roel Reine, and Jet Wilkinson.

Halo: Plot and Cast

Halo is based on an interstellar war between humanity and an alliance of aliens known as The Covenant. It will bring personal stories full of action, adventure and a new vision of the future.

Meanwhile, executive producer Kiki Wofkill revealed in a tweet that Halo is a standalone story inspired by the game franchise. It is not a continuation, adaptation or prequel of the same.

The main cast of the series includes Pablo Schreiber as Master Chief Petty Officer John-117, Yerin Ha as Kwan Ha Boo, Charlie Murphy as Makee and Shabana Azmi as Admiral Margaret Parangosky.

The rest of the lead cast has Bokeem Woodbine as Soren-066, Olive Gray as Miranda Keyes, Kate Kennedy as Kai-125, Natasha Culzac as Riz-028, Bentley Kalu as Vannak-134 and Danny Sapani as Captain Jacob Keyes.

Halo Release Date

The makers of the show officially announced that Halo will be released on March 11, 2022. Halo will be available for streaming on Paramount+.

The OTT platform was initially launched as CBS All Access in 2014. The name was later changed to Paramount+ on March 4, 2021 after the 2019 re-merger of CBS and Viacom.
