Harlan Coben ‘s “The Woods ” to stream on Netflix: Trailer, Cast, Release Date and more!

Another murder mystery coming from the stables of Netflix and this time based on a novel by Harlan Coben.

Fans of The Stranger and Safe can’t wait more for another television adaptation of the novel by Harlan Coben. Harlan has carved a name for himself in a niche of murder mystery and other fatal accidents. His previous works like Safe and The Stranger have amassed a huge fan following for themselves all around the globe.

The Woods

The series is set in Poland in two different time frames. The story revolves around 1994 and 2019. The story revolves around prosecutor Paweł Kopiński and his search to know what happened with his sister way back in 1994. Pawel recalls the past when he and his sister with other teens went for a camping trip in the woods. Some terrible events happen and some teens go missing. One of the missing teens is her sister. Years later some human remains are found in the woods. But Pawel is convinced that his sister is still alive. He begins searching her and stumbles upon some secrets of the past.

When asked about his adaptation in Poland Harlan Coben said “I’m so proud to be teaming up with this incredible cast and crew from Poland – and helping introduce their brilliant work to Netflix’s global audience”. The series is financially supported by the Polish Film Institute.

Cast

The cast of The Woods includes many Polish actors such as Grzegorz Damiecki as Paweł Kopiński, Agnieszka Grochowska and Adam Wietrzynski.
