The story of the upcoming film revolves around a mother named Gabbie and her 9-year-old son. They are looking forward to starting a new life to move into a strangely affordable mansion in New Orleans to discover that the place is much more than they bargained for. Seeking for help, they contact a priest, who, in turn, enlists the aid of a widowed scientist-turned-failed-paranormal expert, a French Quarter psychic, and a crotchety historian to help exorcise the mansion.
Coming to the cast members, it includes Rosario Dawson as Gabbie, LaKeith Stanfield as Ben Matthias, Owen Wilson as Kent, Tiffany Haddish as Harriet, Danny DeVito as Bruce, Jamie Lee Curtis as Madame Leota, Winona Ryder, Hasan Minhaj, Dan Levy, Jared Leto as Alistair Crump/Hatbox Ghost, and others.
Haunted Mansion Release Date
Filming for the film has begun from mid-October 2021 to late February 2022 in New Orleans, Louisiana, and Atlanta, Georgia. DNEG will handle visual effects and stereo conversions.
The upcoming film was previously scheduled for March 10, 2023, however later it got delayed for some reason and is scheduled to be aired on August 11, 2023.
