Euphoria: Cast and Plot
The show mainly focuses on a group of teenagers who navigate the very confusing time of high school through sex, drugs, questions about identity, relationships and thinking about what love and attraction really means.
Zendaya plays the role of Rue Bennett, a recovering drug addict who tries to find where she belongs in the world. She did a stint in rehab after her sister found her unconscious in her room because of drug overdose.
Hunter Schafer plays Jules Vaughn, a transgender girl who becomes friends with Rue when she moves into town and soon becomes her love interest.Maude Apatow plays Lexi Howard, Rue’s childhood best friend and Cassie’s younger sister.
Sydney Sweeney plays Cassie, a girl whose sexual past continues to haunt her. Alexa Demie plays Maddy Perez, Nate’s girlfriend while Jacob Elordi plays Nate Jacobs, a high school athlete with anger issues with pent-up issues with his sexuality.
