HBO renews We’re Here for Season 2: Read for more details!

Home Box Office recently announced that it is renewing We’re Here for another season. The show, which is a documentary-series follows the trio of Bob the Drag Queen, Eureka O’Hara and Shangela. The three of them were contestants on RuPaul’s Drag Race, which was is a reality tv show for people from the LGBTQ+ community.
The trio in their reality show, We’re Here travel across America and visit small towns. They give people from the LGBTQ+ community the opportunity to participate in a one-night-only drag show. The purpose of them travelling across America and targeting small towns is to provide people of the pride community equal opportunities and representation.

The creators and producers of the show to have aimed to create a safe and healthy space for the people of the pride community. Due to the lack of representation of the people of pride community in the past, there has been a sense of dissatisfaction and discontent. Not only activists but the general population feels that there are various reality shows for straight people and very few that involve the participation of people from the LGBTQ+ community.
Such a lack of representation and involvement has been a result of the stigma that still persists in society and in certain religious communities. In order to destigmatise this, people from the pride community are making active efforts to normalise their existence and the rights which have to be given to them.
This show not only is a symbol of the success of the trio accepting their true identity it also promotes the strength and courage it takes to accept and be proud of who you are. This show aims to establish a fun and creative event for the people of the pride community to essentially show the world of what wonders they have to offer.

Often the stereotypes create a barrier and general air of discomfort for people of the LGBTQ+ community but such reality shows aim to break down these barriers and show people that there is a lot more to an individual than their sexual orientation or identity. Not only this, but the show also wants to give the LGBTQ+ people the opportunity to participate in a luxurious and glamourous event.
Since the expenses are covered by the show and the producers, the participants get to sit in the lap of luxury for a day and enjoy themselves to the fullest. The show has received wonderful ratings and has been called heartfelt and heartwarming, rotten tomatoes gave it 100% and IMDb gave it 8/10 in ratings.
The show’s first season comprised of 6 episodes and HBO on its social media platform announced the renewal of season 2 with a heartfelt and warm message towards the LGBTQ+ community during the Pride week. To commemorate and celebrate the efforts and struggles of the Pride Community and to encourage them the trio Bob the Drag Queen, Eureka O’Hara and Shangela. shared their message as well and were excited to let their fans know the great news!
The fans of this show were super thrilled and surprised to know that the show is being renewed for another season of glam, glitter, sass and tons of love and emotions! We’re Here has been a recipient of tons of love, affection and gratitude from the people of the Pride Community as well as the critics.
