Created by Michael Waldron, Heels is an American drama television series produced for Starz. Waldron is also the executive producer alongside Kyle Patrick Alvarez, Eli Jorne, Rodney Barnes, Christopher Donnelly, Patrick Walmsley, Pete Segal, Rick Yorn, Julie Yorn, and Mike O’Malley.

The first season of the show premiered on August 15, 2021. It received positive reviews from critics and audiences and currently holds an approval rating of 96% on Rotten Tomatoes. The series has been already renewed for a second season, which is scheduled to premiere soon.

Heels Season 3 Release Date

Heels first premiered on August 2021 and it was renewed for a second season after three months. Considering that, we should expect the second season to release sometime towards the end of 2022.

The new season might consist of eight episodes like Season 1. The makers might announce further changes for the next season in the upcoming few months.

Heels Season 3 Plot and Cast

The first season of Heels ended with Crystal becoming the champion of the DWL and Ace and Jack being on bad terms. Jack’s marriage to Staci is now on the rocks and the new season would be focusing on Staci alongside Jack trying to redeem himself with his brother and wife.

There is also a speculation on if Ace would quit DWL, even if for a short period of time since the show won’t be the same without him in the ring. Deadline says that Mike O’Malley will return as the showrunner and executive producer in Season 2, and he will also appear as Florida Wrestling Dystopia promoter Charlie Gully.

The first season’s basic premise focused on two brothers and rivals, one a villain or heel in professional wrestling, and the other a hero, or face, play out scripted matches as they fight over their late father’s wrestling promotion and vie for national attention in small town Georgia.

Coming to the cast, we should get to see Stephen Amell, Alexander Ludwig, Alison Luff, Mary McCormack, Kelli Berglund, Allen Maldonado, James Harrison, Roxton Garcia and Chris Bauer in the lead roles.
