OnePlus recently launched the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition with 10GB RAM and Warp Charge 30 technology that gives a day’s power in 20 minutes of charge. The company will be launching the OnePlus 7 flagship next year which is already one of the most anticipated phones of 2019.
Today a photo showing a upcoming OnePlus device has surfaced online. The image was posted by Twitter user @IshanAgarwal24 which shows the device in prototype/design stage and it’s not yet final. The founder and CEO of OnePlus Pete Lau seem to be explaining about the device in the large display. As for the smartphone, it seems to have a big circular camera module that contains the rear cameras.
EXCLUSIVE! Here's your first look at an upcoming OnePlus Device I don't know much about. This image shows the device in prototype/designing stage and it is not final but this is probably how the device may end up looking. That's Pete (CEO of OP) in the img and the device itself. pic.twitter.com/Yau9EsgSDy

The design reminds us of the Moto smartphones that comes with a similar big round camera module. It is shown painted with a red colour options and have a sleek bezels. There is no fingerprint sensor so we can assume it has an in-display fingerprint sensor. Ishan also previously tweeted that a BIG BIG BIG OnePlus leak is coming up.
The device is currently unknown and has a different design compared to the regular OnePlus smartphones. We can’t say it’s the OnePlus 7 since we don’t know anything about the device. However, it has been rumoured to come with a triple rear camera setup, cut-out display notch containing the front camera and even a slider mechanism that hides the front selfie cameras. It is expected to be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855. Pete Lau himself confirmed that an upcoming 2019 flagship will be the first smartphones to use this chipset.
The above mentioned handset also maybe the OnePlus 5G handset that the Chinese manufacturer has already confirmed to be in development and that it will not be the OnePlus 7. Lau recently confirmed that the 5G phone will launch before May 2019 and will be atleast $200 to $300 costlier than the OnePlus 6T due to the expensive components that are being used. Lau remarked that the company is aiming to become one of the first companies to deliver a 5G phone. He adds that though the company doesn’t expect the 5G device to become an overnight success, it could by a very different scene by 2020. Also this smartphone will be placed in a completely new line-up and is not a successor to OnePlus. The company tried something like that with OnePlus X in 2015, but the project didn’t gain much traction.
