Netflix original Hip-Hop Evolution released its season 4 in January 2020. The show had made its debut in 2016. The show was made for the Canadian audience. However, the show gained so much popularity. Due to this Netflix made it available for the international audience as well. The show is a documentary series. Wherein the host of the show covers the most influential incidents which moulded the hip-hop genre of the music industry.

The Plot of the show:

The show follows Shad who has been a reputed personality in the hip-hop industry. He covers and interviews famous personalities of the hip-hop industry. He gives an in-depth detailed account of the incidents which brought a revolution for the hip-hop industry.

Along with this the controversies which caused fall-outs. Also how newbies made it into the industry and created themselves from scratch. The show also been a  recipient of many awards and has been given an 8.4/10 from IMDb.

The show has a total of four seasons currently. The fourth season aired on 17th January 2020. The first season had debuted in September 2016. Every season of the show has 4 episodes. Currently, the show has 16 episodes. Each episode has a run time of 50-60 minutes.

Since the show has done tremendously well for itself. Netflix might renew it for a season five. There has been no official confirmation for the renewal of season five. The season five, if the show is renewed will not be airing before 2021. Considering the Covid-19 situation.
