Hocus Pocus sequel after 27 years: Details and more!

Hocus pocus, The famous 1993 American comedy horror film is taking rounds back in the news after 27 years!It will be exclusively made for Disney plus.

Nobody can wait to see the trio of Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najmy back on the big screen again.

Back in 1993, it was released on July 16th by Walt Disney. Now a cult classic but in the beginning, it wasn’t the case, with Disney losing over 16.3 billion due to its release. The audience gradually began to fall in love with the movie even though it was a subject of negative reviews earlier in its release dates. Now, Hocus pocus has gathered quite a cult following with the help of annual airings on the Disney channel as well as freeform. It has been rediscovered and has no resulted in a yearly spike in video sales before every Halloween.

The film revolves around three witches who are accidentally resurrected by a teenage boy on a Halloween night, at Salem, Massachusetts. The trio is villainously comedic.

Fortunately, the sequel of hocus pocus has found itself a director, Adam Shankman. Adam Shankman is famously known as the judge for the television program,  “so you think you can dance“.
