Developed and published by Team Cherry for Windows, macOS, Linux, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, Hollow Knight: Silksong is an upcoming video game that was announced on 14 February 2019 as a sequel to the 2017 game Hollow Knight, featuring the Hollow Knight boss character Hornet as the player character.
Hornet gets captured and taken to the kingdom of Pharloom. It is believed that the kingdom is “haunted by Silk and Song” and has to climb towards the top to get to the shining citadel.

Hollow Knight: Silksong Gameplay
The gameplay of Hollow Knight: Silksong is said to be the same as the last Hollow Knight game which was released. The platform and combat would be set in 2D and the developers have added better changes. The players would get to move with an acrobatic flair or heal themselves. The game will also feature sidequests and the details of the same would be added to a journal. The quest system would be separated into four sections that include Gather, Wayfarer, Hunt, and Grand Hunt which would be offered by the characters that are non-playable. The developers said that it is going to be a large game with around 165 enemies and 100 checkpoints. There will be a separate difficulty mode called Silk Soul which is said to be like the Steel Soul in the previous installment. The main game is going to witness some differences compared to the last entry.
