CIA operative Carrie Matheson (Claire Danes) and his superior Saul Berenson (Mandy Patinkin) are in a very critical deadlocked situation. Carrie, who has a knack of following her hunches, will she really try to kill Saul? Can they both come to peaceful terms with each other despite everything? These cliffhangers will be resolved in the series finale.
The eighth and final season of this jaw-dropping spy thriller is coming to an end. Saul is acting as National Security Advisor to President Warner who plans to have a truce the Afghanistan based terrorist organization Taliban. Carrie is still mentally and physically recovering from the nightmare of being held as a prisoner of war in Russia. To make things worse her supply of medicines been gagged. Her recovery period could not have been worse. She is medically unfit to take on a mission. In spite of this, Saul recruits her for another high-risk task. Saul is hoping to rely on Carrie’s old contacts in Afghanistan to workout the Taliban peace talks. This is how the eighth season took off. How is the series finale going to conclude the show?

What are the fans expecting?
The fans are not so optimistic about a happy ending for their favorite CIA Analyst Carrie. They will feel contented with a believable satisfactory ending. Moreover, they are expecting the episode will throw light for once and for all on a few significant plot ambiguities. There will be no further episodes to clarify these confusions. Still, they hope Saul and Carrie come to peaceful terms with each other. They don’t want either of the lead characters to be in eternal depression when the show ends.
