‘Hometown Season 2’: Updates, Cast, Release Date and More!

Hometown Season 2 is getting a renewal after excellent crafted Season1. Season 1 is produced by Rebecca Cutter and executive produced by Cutter, Gary Lennon, Jerry Bruckheimer, Jonathan Littman, and KristieAnne Reed and stars Monica Raymund and James Badge Dale. This show gathered huge support from the Fans and is getting Hometown Season 2 because of the high demand. Rachel Morrison directed the first two episodes of the series and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer Television and Lionsgate Television.

What is the Plot of Hometown Seasons?

Hightown is set on the Cape Cod. It features Jackie Quiñones (Monica Raymund), a hard-partying National Marine Fisheries Service agent. She has her free-minded life thrown into complications when she discovers a body on the beach. Another casualty of Cape Cod’s opioid epidemic. As a result of this trauma, Jackie takes the first steps toward becoming sober. Until she becomes convinced that it’s up to her to solve the murder.

In a statement, Christina Davis, president of original programming at Starz, said, “Audiences are already deeply engaged with these flawed and complex characters. In a second season we will continue to dive deeper into the relationships between them amidst the shifting tides on the Cape.”

What is the Cast of Hometown Seasons?

Not only fans but also the Cast enjoyed being on the Sets of Hometown. Raymund tells how excited she was to star in her first cable drama. “As much as I love to network, I never had the opportunity to challenge myself doing cable television.I come from a very theatrical background so I like extremely complex stories. I like it messy and gritty, I don’t like cleanliness when it comes to storytelling. So this was an opportunity to mess up my work and push myself,” she said.

Hometown Season 2 will also include the season 1 cast and we can also see new members. Monica Raymund did cast in a leading role in the pilot. James Badge Dale and Riley Voelkel also join as the main cast. In February 2019, Shane Harper, Atkins Estimond, Amaury Nolasco, and Dohn Norwood did join the cast in the series.
