Horizon Zero Dawn is set to release for PC! Know more!

Horizon Zero Dawn is created by Guerrilla Games and is distributed by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The story follows Aloy, a tracker who sets out to find her past in a world invaded by robots. The player uses ranged weapons, a spear, and stealth, to combat artificial monsters and other aggressive forces. A skill tree introduces new skills and rewards to the player. The player can search the open world for places to be explored and side quests taken.

Release Date

It was released in 2017 for the PS4, and now will be released in 2020 for PC. The Windows release date for Horizon Zero Dawn on Steam and the Epic Games Store is verified for 7 August.

Gameplay

Horizon Zero Dawn has been the first creative work of the Guerrilla Games since Killzone in 2004.

Production began in 2011 after Killzone 3 was finished. Director Mathijs de Jonge finding it to be the most dangerous project proposed today. Decima, the game engine, was built for Killzone Shadow Fall and updated for Horizon Zero Dawn.

Set in a post-apocalyptic setting, anthropologists have been surveyed to authenticate the deterioration of the earth over a millennium. Composer Joris de Man directed the soundtrack, which includes songs from The Flight.

PC Version

The PC Complete Edition includes a major overhaul of The Frozen Wilds, including additional territories, abilities, weapons, and computers.

Horizon Zero Dawn PC teaser reveals that the port will feature activated frame rates, dynamic scenery, controller tracking, enhanced reflections, benchmarking tools, ultra-wide support, and more.

The PC edition will feature various enhancements to the initial PS4 release. It will include support for resolutions up to 4K and accessible framerates. Mouse and keyboard compatibility with some device configuration options, FOV adjusted to a limit of 100 degrees, and several anti-aliasing and anisotropic filter modes.

The title received several awards, and by February 2019 sold over 10 million copies.  A sequel, Horizon Forbidden West, is expected to be released in 2021 for PlayStation 5.
