HouseBroken Season 2: Release Date, Trailer and more!

Created by Jennifer Crittenden, Clea DuVall and Gabrielle Allan, HouseBroken is an adult animated sitcom that premiered on Fox on May 31, 2021. It airs on CTV 2 in Canada.

Although the series received mixed reviews from critics, it received a positive response from the audience. The show holds a rating of 50% on Rotten Tomatoes and 66 out of 100 on Metacritic. It has been renewed for another season and is expected to release soon.

HouseBroken Plot and Cast

Honey

The storyline of the second season will be more developed and continue featuring the neighborhood pets and street animals who work their issues each. The new season will answer the unanswered questions from Season 1 that whether Honey and her friends would find happiness in her life.

The therapy group of Honey and unusual life experiences of animals will be continued in Season 2. It will also show the changes in the relationship of Honey and Chief Shel to find clarity in his life. The second season will also evolve the equations of Honey and Elsa.

The basic premise of the show follows an anthropomorphic therapy dog, Honey, who explores human dysfunctions and neurosis by applying her knowledge of psychiatry through leading a group of other anthropomorphic neighborhood animals in group therapy sessions.

Talking about the cast, we might get to see Lisa Kudrow, Clea DuVall, Nat Faxon, Will Forte, Tony Hale, Sharon Horgan, Jason Mantzoukas, Sam Richardson and Tchotchke in the lead roles.

HouseBroken Season 2 Release Date

It’s been a long time since HouseBroken was renewed for a second season. Since the pandemic restrictions have been removed, we can now expect it to release sometime in 2022.

The new season is also expected to have eleven episodes like Season 1 with the same runtime. The rest of the details could be revealed in the next few months.
