Created by Isaac Aptaker & Elizabeth Berger, How I Met Your Father is an American sitcom. It is a spin-off of How I Met Your Mother. Isaac Aptaker & Elizabeth Berger has also served as executive producers of the show along with Carter Bays & Craig Thomas, Pamela Fryman, and Adam Londy.
The series premiered on Hulu on January 18, 2022, and received mixed reviews from critics. Despite that, in February 2022, the series was renewed for a second season.

How I Met Your Father Season 2 Plot and Cast
We saw plenty of makeup and breakups at the end of the first season. Sophie and Jesse take their relationship to the next level and spend a passionate night together. But when Jesse says I love you, Sophie, in his sleep, Sophie panics and feels that they’re moving too fast.
She tells her that he should be with her ex-girlfriend, Meredith. She heads to a bar downstairs after that and runs into Robin Scherbatsky. After getting some relationship advice, she heads back to Jesse’s apartment and finds him kissing Meredith. Sophie’s tinder date, Ian, and her story will be explored in Season 2. Charlie and Valentina have broken up and now, the pair will have to learn to be amicable friends as the gang explores their future storylines.
The main characters will be back for the next season including Hilary Duff as Sophie, Chris Lowell as Jesse, Francia Raisa as Valentina, Tom Ainsley as Charlie, Tien Tran as Ellen, and more.
How I Met Your Father Season 2 Release Date
In February 2022, the series was renewed for a second season, which is scheduled to release on January 24, 2023, on Hulu.
How I Met Your Father Season 2 will have a total of 20 episodes. Hulu announced the news while announcing the renewal of the series for the next season.
