Huawei Enjoy 9 appears in TENAA

Published

on

Latest research shows Huawei gaining in smartphone sales on Samsung during the past quarter which is largely due to the massive amount of devices the Chinese manufacturer launches to serve every possible price segment. Now if you want a cheaper mid-range device with a fingerprint sensor you can go for the Enjoy 9 Plus also known as Huawei Y9 (2019). But in case you don’t want the fingerprint sensor, the Huawei is working on a cheaper version called Enjoy 9 and recently appeared in Chinese regulatory agency TENAA.

According to the TENAA specs list, the Huawei Enjoy 9 features a 6.6 inch HD+ LCD display with a waterdrop notch. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.8 GHz clocked processor which is likely to be the SD 632 used in another affordable device Honor 8C.

The device will be offered in 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage that can be further expanded by microSD card. In the optics department, it will sport a dual camera setup of 13MP + 2MP in the rear while offering an 8MP at the front.

Huawei Enjoy Y

The Huawei Enjoy Y series are preferred for their massive batteries and the Enjoy 9 is expected to have at least 3,900 mAh battery listed under model number DUB-Tl00 and DUB-AL00. The handset will run EMUI 8.1 with Android 8.1 Oreo on the top. Since there is no fingerprint sensor, we expect it to come with Face Unlock feature, as Realme did with the Realme 1 launched this year in May.

The Huawei Enjoy 9 may also be launched globally but under a different moniker.  The smartphone will be a good option for the entry-level market with a big display, good processor and a decent battery. The company is yet to announce the smartphone officially, but we expect the launch to be around the corner based on the TENAA appearance.
