Huawei is scheduled to unveil its Huawei P30 and the P30 Pro flagship smartphone on March 26. The smartphones have been subjected to multiple leaks before revealing key features and specs. Now, a fresh report from WinFuture.de has revealed full specifications of the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro. A third smartphone called Huawei P30 Lite may also be launched alongside but there is no mention in the report.
Huawei P30 Pro Specifications, Features
The Huawei P30 Pro will feature a 6.47 inch OLED display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. There is a teardrop notch on the top edge that houses a 32MP selfie camera which also supports Face Unlock. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor and no visible earpiece on the phone. This suggests that the phone may carry a technology that allows it to emit sound through the display.
The rear sports a quad camera setup with an optically stabilized 40MP main sensor with f/1.6 aperture. A 20MP wide-angle lens will join it with an f/2.2 aperture. The third 8MP sensor is slightly separated from the second probably due to the presence of a periscope structure to offer 10X lossless zoom. The sensor has a focal length of 135mm allowing an optical magnification of at least 7.8 times. Aided by software algorithms, it will offer 10X hybrid-zoom. Below the dual LED, there is a laser autofocus module along with a ToF (Time of Flight) sensor.
The phone houses a 7nm Kirin 980 chipset that has a dual NPU unit for AI calculations. It will be offered in 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB and 512GB internal storage which can further be expanded via nanoSD card. There is a 4,200 mAh battery with 40W fast charging technology. Other features include single and dual SIM variant, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, a USB Type-C port, IR Blaster. It will run EMUI 9.1 based on Android 9 Pie and will be available I Midnight Black, Breathing Crystal (White), Aurora (Green) and Amer Sunrise (Orange)
Huawei P30 Specifications, Features
The Huawei P30 features a 6.1-inch display with a teardrop notch and FHD+ resolution (2340 x 1080 pixels). The notch will house the 32MP selfie camera along with a regular earpiece. It is powered by a Kirin 980 coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage (in Europe) and includes a nanoSD card slot.
The device sports a triple rear camera module with a 40MP primary unit. It is paired with a 16MP wide-angle lens and an 8MP lens with f/2.4 aperture. The three camera sensor adds up to offer 5X hybrid zoom. It runs EMUI 9.1 based on Android 9 Pie and backed by a 3,640 mAh battery with rapid charging technology.
The P30 will have a 3.5 mm headphone jack while the Pro variant misses one. It has the same connectivity features. The handset will be available in Midnight Black, Breathing Crystal (White) and Aurora (Green) colour options.
As of now, there is no accurate information pricing of the Huawei P30 and the P30 Pro. According to the report, the P30 could be priced below 800 euros (Rs 62,500 approx). We will be covering more details from the launch event. Till then, keep tuned.
