Hyper Scape – Release Date, Gameplay and more!

Hyper Scape is a royal shooting game created for Windows, Xbox One, and PS4 by Ubisoft Montreal. The game is noteworthy for its collaboration with live streamers for video gameplay that enable viewers on Twitch to control the results of a match.

Release Date

The Windows open beta was launched on July 12th, 2020. The game is expected to be released on August 11, 2020, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows.

Gameplay

Season 1, named “The First Principle,” will add a new arm and hack, new game modes, and improved content to the Crowncast Twitch plug-in, which will dig further into the game’s mythology. The new arms and hack, respectively, are called “Dragonfly” and “Magnet”.

There’s a puzzle generated by Prisma Dimensions that players would need to solve in the Hyper Scape. Season One includes Memory Shards that players can accumulate to learn more about certain characters and events. Each week in the game world a new Memory Shard is hidden for players to discover and unlock.

Any accessories obtained from the in-game store or combat pass can be passed to the final release with the beta concluded on August 2. By having even quicker rounds, Hyper Scape sets itself apart from other battle royals, with characters able to fly around rooftops with quick parkour skills.

Players will explore new content in gameplay, new features in Hyper Scape Crowncast, and will learn more about the Hyper Scape world in the first season.

Battle Pass

Hyper Scape Season One also contains new products to customize through the Battle Pass. The Battle Pass provides a free and paid trail with 100-thirds of unique cosmetic items to be unlocked during the Season. The paid Battle Pass system is eligible for the in-game currency, 950 Bitcrowns. Players get bitcrowns by playing a game, or purchasing from Ubisoft or first-party stores with real cash.
