Netflix’s original coming-of-age, supernatural dark humor show, ‘I am not okay with this’ is making a comeback with its second season. The show is based on Charles Forsman’s graphic novel. The first season was a huge hit among the fans and received positive reviews from the critics. The series is directed by Jonathan Entwistle. The season one of the show was premiered on Netflix on 26 February 2020.
Cast
The cast of the new season will be the showrunner of the first season only. With Sophia Lillis returning as Sydney Novak, Wyatt Olef as Stanley Barber, Sofia Bryant as Dina, Katherine Rose as Maggie Novak, Richard Elley as Brad Lewis, and Aidan Wojtak as Liam Novak. There might be some addition to the cast which is not confirmed yet.
Plot
The second season will pick from the finale of season one which was absolute cliffhanger.
In the new season, we will see Sydney encountering the man who has been following her, and she will get to know maybe about her superpowers which is the most prominent part of the show. Apart from superpowers, the new season might explore Sydney’s relationship with her mother, and Dina, her coming out of the closet moment and friendship with Stanley Barber.

There has been no official release date and announcement from the creators of the show, which is worrying the fans. The series got renewed for the second season after the premiere of the first season only. Due to the pandemic outbreak of Covid-19, Netflix has postponed production of many new seasons of the shows. So, we have to wait for a while for the piece of good news from Netflix about the new season of ‘I am not okay with this’.
