After the massive popularity and love received from the audience for season 1, fans were looking forward to a season 2 of the I Am Not Okay With This. However, the bad news is Netflix has recently canceled the renewal of season 2 of this highly rated show and fans are not okay with this. Initially, it was decided upon by Netflix that the show will have a season 2 but the decision was soon reversed.
“We’ve made the difficult decision not to move forward with second seasons of The Society and I Am Not Okay With This,” said Netflix in a statement. Unfortunately, we will have to bid farewell to these shows without receiving a proper conclusion. In a recent statement, the streaming giant also stated that the show had to be canceled because of the budgetary restraints and an increase in production cost due to the COVID 19 situation.

I Am Not Okay With This is an American comedy-drama web series developed by Jonathan Entwistle and Christy Hall that premiered on Netflix on February 26, 2020. This coming-of-age drama is based on the comic series by Charles Forsman. The first season had 7 episodes and the run-time was 19-28 minutes each episode.
The description on Netflix goes like “Angsty Syd navigates high school awkwardness, family drama and an unrequited crush on her best friend while trying to rein in her budding superpowers.” A teenage girl named Sydney is utterly confused about life as she has to deal with her growing sexuality and strange superpowers. She has to deal with various complexities in her family as well.
