I Hate Suzie: Plot and Cast

The show stars Billie Piper as an actress named Suzie Pickles who sees her entire life falling apart when her phone gets hacked and many compromising photographs of her are leaked out on the internet.

Her life used to be perfect before this, so she feels like she has hit rock bottom. She tries to tell people that the pictures of her having sex are fake, however, no one believes her. In order to distract herself from the impact this has on her family life, she starts to party. And by that, we mean party hard.

Soon, Suzie’s marriage begins to fall apart and decides that maybe she should stop working with her husband. Her friend Naomi Jones tries to make sure the press doesn’t interfere any more in Suzie’s personal life. Soon, Suzie decides to give a press conference which she botches, naturally, like everything in her life at the moment. This forces Naomi to do some hard-core damage control.

Suzie sees her career going nowhere with all the drama she recently experienced and decides to audition for a musical in an attempt to change her career. As she struggles, she decides to make some other big life changes.

Leila Frazad plays Naomi Jones, Daniel Ings plays Cob Betterton and Nathaniel Martello-White plays Carter Vaughan. Matthew Jordan-Caws plays Frank.
