Nier Replicant ver. 1.22474487139 is scheduled to launch on PlayStation 4, Windows PC, and Xbox One on April 23, 2021. The game’s creators made the announcement regarding the release date during a Nier-centric livestream titled “We Have a Decent Amount of New Info,” which currently seems to hold true.
Gameplay
Nier Replicant ver. 1.22474487139 is an update to the original 2010 game Nier Replicant. In Western countries, the game was known only as Nier, and told the story of a father searching for a cure for his daughter. However, the upcoming remaster of Nier Replicant will be based on the original Japanese version of the story, which “invites players into a dark, apocalyptic world as they join a brother’s captivating quest to cure his sister of a deadly disease — a quest which will in turn make them question everything.”
Deluxe Edition
the game, Square Enix is also releasing a deluxe version of Nier Replicant ver. 1.22474487139: the White Snow Edition.
The Nier Replicant ver. 1.22474487139 White Snow Edition consists of a copy of the game, along with a SteelBook case; three pins based on the white, black, and crimson books; a seven-volume set of the game’s recording script; and a two-CD soundtrack set that comes in a grimoire-style package. The White Snow Edition comes in deluxe packaging. It’s available for pre-order in Japan for 19,800 yen (about $188), and will come to North America for an unspecified price.
