Youtube has turned into a huge content platform over the last few years, where various creators kick-started their entertainment careers. The best part of such a platform is that the content is not restricted to one variety; rather, anyone can seek any informative video at any time; anyone can share their creativity from any corner of the globe. Among the ocean of artists, Los Angeles based Scottish-Australian actress Zenith Ander took to the platform to share her journey to Hollywood. The Eilidh series starts off with a bang, hooking up the viewers instantly. And when you already love the Pilot episode, you know the show is going to be great. What makes the drama relatable is Zenith’s Scottish accent and the vulnerability faced by any struggling actor. It is brimming with amusing jokes and references to average Scotland with the appeal of Hollywood and Los Angeles as it’s thematic setting.

Eilidh received huge positive responses, and the views are increasing each day. The role is very close to Ander’s heart since she could be raw throughout the entire series. Even though she was born in Scotland, but was brought up in Australia after her parents moved there. Adopting the Aussie culture took some time, but eventually, she related and mixed amid the crowd. Los Angeles had been her home for the last 5 years and she never for once felt left out. It’s like all these places welcomed her like a warm teddy bear. Her achievements don’t stop here. She is an accomplished member from the esteemed BAFTA Los Angeles, Australians in Film, Scottish Screenwriters, Women in Moving Pictures (W.I.M.P.S), and is the organiser of Female Film Connect, which promotes more than 1,600 Los Angeles based film proficient individuals.

Just like any aspirant, she moved to L.A in search of her identity and fame. Her luck persistently tagged along with her when she buckled down through her profession to have an assemblage of varieties of screen acting and voice work which permits her to keep on being cast there in Hollywood. Eilidh opened her doors to opportunities, and she has already headed to San Francisco to shoot  In the Forest of Nisene Marks. Ander likes to witness different experts taking their prowess and applying them to the practice fields. Prior to the lockdown, she had some conversations with an extraordinary show-director about pitching her Youtube series Eilidh and RoomMates to a few very notable production groups, but afterwards, everything halted out of nowhere.

You must be wondering that the path of acting is not a smooth one and there must have been a lot of things in the past of Zenith Ander, and you are absolutely right. We had the same thoughts and hence couldn’t resist digging further. Her theatre profession started off in Children’s Theatre as an adolescent, cast in a large number of shows over various years delivered by the acclaimed ‘Cartoon Creations’, alongside other theatre organizations including the Jack of All Trades’ at Ripponlea Estate. Her debut television role as Tania Morgan on the multi-award-winning Blue Heelers, premiered on Channel 7 in Australia while she was still studying and since then her theatre career has continued to expand exponentially.

Even though this had been a tough year, we would be getting more glimpses of Zenith in the upcoming days. Her days are all packed up with exciting projects. Acting is in her blood. Theatre is literally her mother, and she loves to sleep on her lap during her lowest days. Whether it’s modifying a character in her own ways or making friends between shoots, the world of cinema has always nurtured her. Zenith once said in one of her interviews, “I work best as an actor when I feel connected with somebody I’m working with, have taken the space and time to relax, and to have built some trust and shared a giggle.” She is the true epitome of a flesh-and-blood raw actor who does it for the love of stagecraft.
