Produced by NorthSouth Productions, “Impractical Jokers” is an American hidden camera reality show with improvsional elements that premiered on truTV on December 15, 2011 starring the four members of The Tenderloins: Joe Gatto, James “Murr” Murray, Brian “Q” Quinn and Sal Vulcano.
Q, Sal, Joe and Murr are real-life best friends who love challenging each other to the most outrageous dares and stunts ever caught on hidden camera.
The latest season of Impractical Jokers premiered on Thursday, February 4, 2021, at 10 P.M on truTV.
Despite the pandemic, they’re all back for another round of pranks and outrageous challenges. And as usual, the guys’ pranks will largely be dependent on unsuspecting passersby in the streets of New York City and elsewhere.
According to Brian, although the comedians would usually have one or two people per week refuse to participate on the show, when filming Season 9, only one person in three months refused to sign a release form. Brian explained, “People were definitely ready to interact with other people. Everybody was in a good mood and really willing to play.”
