Directed by Peter Fowkes, P.J Morrison, and Andrew Hood, “Impractical Jokers” is an American hidden camera reality show with improvision elements. Starring the four members of The Tenderloins: Joe Gatto, James “Murr” Murray, Brian “Q” Quinn, and Sal Vulcano, the first season premiered on December 15, 2011.

PREMISE: 

Four comedian buddies engage in an ongoing series of outrageous dares. And if they fail to meet the challenge, the penalty is even worse

SEASON 9:

The Jokers are audio producers without control of their mics. Then they go to the supermarket with their “wives” where a special guest shows up. And tonight’s big loser has to deliver interesting news to dog owners.

The Jokers pose as job references on a Zoom call while being messaged and messed with by the other guys. They then pitch their memoirs to strangers in order to get a high rating.
