Inertial Drift brings a whole new degree of simplicity and difficulty to the world of arcade racing-for a driving environment. The game is set in the nineties’ future. It’s a racing game with a devastatingly original control style.
Release Date
PQube and Level 91 Entertainment revealed the race title Inertial Drift back in October. They confirmed that the game would be released this Season. Nevertheless, the game has been postponed and a new date of August 7 has been set. Inertial Drift will be available in both digital and physical formats, for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
Gameplay
It’s a one-on-one driving game with players using twin-stick controls to keep pushing the machines they select. The game involves the drifts that the cars can get into.
Players have direct control of steering and drifting using the right and left sticks providing accurate control of the direction and orientation of their vehicle. The handling properties of cars are determined by the use of throttle and braking, each of which responds in a particular way. That allows a new challenge for each car to discover and learn. Use such skills in various race modes, and local multiplayer.
Inertial Drift will have a total of 20 unique tracks, including locations with a pink Japanese sunset to neon towns. There will be 16 different cars to use. Inertial Drift will feature both local multiplayer and online matches. The solo matches will improve skills against rivals.
