Insurgency: Sandstorm for PS4 and Xbox One has been delayed!

New World Interactive has stated that the Insurgency: Sandstorm editions of PS4 and Xbox One will not reach its release date of 25 August. The studio needs some time to release its first console, but how much time is uncertain. Also no new date has been reported. The FPS based tactical squad was launched on a PC in 2018.

Insurgency: Sandstorm is a strategical multiplayer game created by New World Interactive and released by Focus Home Interactive. It was unveiled for Windows in February 2016. The PS4 and Xbox One editions have gone through several delays.

Previous Release Date

Insurgency: Sandstorm first reached PC via Steam in 2018. Plans were in place to operate at the same time elsewhere. Alternatively, the tactical game got a screen delay in the first half of 2019. Finally, the New World announced an early 2020 date, which pushed to August 25th in February.
