Developed by Robert Kirkman, Invincible is an adult animated superhero series, based on the Image Comics series of the same name. Kirkman is also the executive producer alongside Simon Racioppa, David Alpert, Catherine Winder, Seth Rogen, and Evan Goldberg. The show’s first season premiered on March 25, 2021, and received positive reviews from critics and audiences. the first season currently holds an approval rating of 98% on Rotten Tomatoes and considering the decent feedback, the makers have renewed the series for a second and third season.

The makers have not revealed a lot of details about the plot of Invincible Season 3. However, the third season will continue from where Season 2 will end.

For now, there has been no news on the development of Season 2 and the creators have also not disclosed a lot of information about it. The third season’s plot will entirely depend on what would happen in Season 2. Towards the end of Season 1, Omni-Man has destroyed his whole family and he might return with the Viltrumites to take over Earth.

Meanwhile, Cecil asks Mark to take his father’s place as Earth’s champion and Mark has not agreed to it until now. Mark also plans to finish high school but this might be tricky as threats are coming on his way. Mark’s relationship with Amber is getting better, although it is unknown how long this would last.

For now, we can expect all the lead cast members to return in Season 3, although it remains to be seen if any character gets killed in the second season.
