Created by Carlos Saldanha, Invisible City is a Brazilian fantasy streaming television series, made for Netflix. Saldanha is also the executive producer alongside Renata Grynszpan, Caito Ortiz, Maresa Pullman, Marco Anton, Francesco Civita and Beto Gauss.
The first season of the series premiered on February 5, 2021. The show received mixed to positive reviews and was among the top 10 most popular series in 12 countries on the same day. Following the decent response, Netflix renewed the series for a second season on March 2, 2021.

Invisible City Plot and Cast
The second season of Invisible City may take audiences into the supernatural realm to witness what Eric must do to make it back to his family alive. Although this is an exciting prospect, there is a possibility that his entry into this world has opened up a larger portal between the two realms that can lead to a more complex mystery in Season 2.
The basic premise follows Eric who discovers a hidden world of mythological entities from Brazilian folklore, as he searches for a connection between his wife’s death and the mysterious appearance of a dead pink river dolphin on a beach in Rio de Janeiro.
Coming to the cast of the second season, the lead actors from Season 1 are expected to reprise their roles. This include Marco Pigossi, Alessandra Negrini, Fabio Lago, Jessica Cores, Jimmy London, Wesley Guimaraes, Aurea Maranhao, Julia Konrad, Thaia Perez, Manu Dieguez and Jose Dumont.
Invisible City Season 2 Release Date
The first season of Invisible City premiered on February 2021 and the series was renewed for a second season the following month. Considering that, the second season should premiere by the end of 2022.
The upcoming season is expected to have seven episodes like Season 1. However, detailed information regarding the new season is yet to be revealed by the makers.
