Charmed is an American fantasy drama series created by Jennie Synder Urmer, Jessica O’ Toole, and Amy Radin. Charmed is a reboot of 1998 The WB series, created by Constance Burge, which ran from 1998 to 2006. Charmed reboot version premiered on The CW on 14 October 2018. The series follows the story of three sisters, Macy, Mel, and Macy, who after the death of their mother found out that they are the most powerful trio of good witches who are destined to save lives of innocents from devils and demons. Together, they are known as ‘The Power of Three’, along with a guide namely Whitelighter Harry Greenwood.
The first season of the series faced some criticism but towards the end of the second season, the view of people regarding the series changed, and they appreciate the unexpected twist. The end of season two of Charmed left the fans wondering what will happen in the next season. It got renewed for the third season, but it seems like the fans have to wait a little longer for Charmed to arrive at Netflix, as The CW postponed the production of many series including Charmed due to the pandemic outbreak of Covid-19 until it’s safe to resume the production. So, it’s anticipated that Charmed Season 3 will premiere around the end of 2020 or maybe at the beginning of 2021 with some new factors which are the number of episodes The CW will decide to release on Netflix.
The cast of the third season are as follows, Madeline Mantock as Macy, Sarah Jeffrey as Maggie, Rupert Evans as Harry Greenwood, Melanie Diaz as Mel, Poppie Drayton as Abigail, Nick Hargrove as Parker, Jordan Donica as Jordan, Charles Gillespie as Brian, and Ser’Daius Blain as Galvin. It’s been speculated that the old cast of Charmed will return to the reboot version of the series. Both old and new cast showed interest in working together, well the fans are hoping them to reunite soon as the mentors of the new set of the Witches.
