Is Hannibal Ready for Season 4 on Netflix?

Half a decade passed since the streaming of Hannibal Season 3 finale. The show’s producers canceled the show in 2015. Fans expressed their disappointment about canceling Hannibal. The story and cast attracted millions of fans on Netflix. They asked for more seasons but the decision came as a shock to fans around the world. Now, we received a surprise from the lead actor. In his post he revealed the renewal of Hannibal for another season. Is Hannibal ready for Season 4 on Netflix?

Hints on Renewal of the Hannibal

Is Hannibal ready for Season 4 on Netflix?

Fans would not have forgotten the psychological thriller. That’s what made them get excited and attentive to the recent post by Mads Mikkelsen. He captioned his post on social media- “Hannibal hits Netflix in June. Is Hannibal season 4 on the way?”

While the former sentence can be viewed as just a reference to all previous seasons releasing on Netflix UK on June 5, the latter part is suspicious. One cannot deny the fact that Hannibal’s renewal is the most exciting news for Mikkelsen’s fans. This gave goosebumps to all fans.

Another hint to renewal is the show’s creator Bryan Fuller. He took to twitter about his wishes in renewing the show for another season. He said, “I’ve made it clear, I want to do it, the cast wants to do it, and Martha [executive producer] wants to do it.”

The Success of Hannibal

Hannibal hit NBC in 2013. As of now, it has three seasons with 39 episodes in total. Each season has 13 episodes. These nerve chilling episodes run for about 43 minutes each. The story revolves around will Graham who is appointed to investigate the murders perpetrated by a serial killer. She comes in contact with Dr. Hannibal Lecter, a psychiatrist. He is a serial killer himself and tries to manipulate the FBI proceedings. But later gets entwined in Will’s world. He likes Graham’s way of understanding the serial killers. What happens next is the plot of the show. This thriller attracted many audiences and earned well in numbers. But still, Netflix had issues with NBC. Because at that time Thomas Harris’s other novel was being made into a series and Netflix has to eventually give up. There are also streaming issues with Amazon.

However, the recent hint gave fodder for news about Hannibal Season 4 which is likely to hit the screens in late 2020. We do not have official information about the release date. We don’t even have a trailer. All that we can hope for is Mikkelson’s post coming true.

What can we Expect from Season 4 of Hannibal?

The entire story follows Thomas’s 1981 novel Red Dragon. He also wrote two other books- Hannibal, Hannibal Rising. Bryan Fuller is the creator of the Hannibal series. Even in season 4, the same cast is returning. Mikkelson, Hugh Dancy, Laurence Fishburne, Aaron Abrams, Gillian Anderson, Caroline Dhavernas, and Hettienne Park will reprise their roles if the Hannibal is renewed.

There is also a theory that Hannibal changed hands with another studio but there is no authentic news about it. The producers also continue with the new season- Michael Wray, Carol Dunn Trussell, and Don Mancini. The distribution vests with Sony Pictures Television.

If the team announces the official renewal, what is more, entertaining to all the fans? But we need to wait until we get the new season.
