It looks like fans wait is over! For Netflix’s super-hero film The Old Guard will be soon available on the biggest streaming platform.

The date for the release of the film has officially been announced. The film will be screening on the 10th of July, 2020.

It is said that The Old Guard has been confirmed for an R rating.

What is the Plot of The Old Guard?

The story revolves around a group of people. However, they are not just common people like us doing their common things of life. But, they are mercenaries. The people who all are centuries-old immortals. They are capable of healing from any wound possible.

The group then realizes that someone is “awakened”. But who that someone is? That one is another immortal one just like them. And now they know somebody is behind them. Somebody is on to their secret and their freedom. Now they have to stop whoever that is.

And hence, the story begins. Exciting, isn’t it?

The cast of the film includes some incredible actors. Let’s have a look at them once.

Kiandra “Kiki” Layne, the If Beale Street Could Talk alum, would be seen as Nile Freeman. Along with her, Marwan Kenzari, the Wolf actor, as Joe (Yusuf Al-Kaysani).

Matthias Schoenaerts, the Red Sparrow alum, could also be seen as Booker (Sebastian Le Livre). Also, Luca Marinelli, the Don’t Be Bad alum, as Nicky (Nicolo di Genova).

Chiwetel Ejiofor, the 2012 alum, as Copley. Harry Meling, the Harry Potter alum, as Merrick. Veronica Ngo, a Vietnamese actress, singer, and model, as TBA, will also be in the film.

Where was Filming Done?

The filming of The Old guard has been done in Europe. It began in mid-may 2019.
