What Happened to Prince of Persia: The Sands of Times?

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Times had a big star cast, great CGI, and other great elements but the movie Drastically failed on the box office. The movie only scored 37% on rotten tomatoes. And filled with bad reviews and movie failed in showing some greatest elements and some good game mechanics from the original game which made gamers angry and due to these reasons movies didn’t stand the expectation of fans of original game series.

Jake Gyllenhaal on Sequel?

It’s been 10 years now and Jake Gyllenhaal has also lost his interest in the role and movie. He opened about Prince of Persia in an interview “I guess I discovered a lot from that film in that I spend a lot of time attempting to be very thoughtful regarding the roles that I pick and why I’m choosing them. For Disney budget is not a thing but the sequel of the movie isn’t worth making. Because it won’t make a good amount of money on the box office and even fans are also not interested in another part of the movie. And the game mechanics are nearly impossible to live-action movies.

So everything is leading the conclusion only that Prince of Persia 2 is not happening any soon in the near future and people have forgotten about it.
