Who will be the Cast?

The cast of first season already made place in the hearts of fans. So changing that could cost FOX a lot. So, the Cast will star Tom Payne as Malcolm Bright. Bright’s New York elite family is also returning for the new season. Jessica(Bellamy Young) will return as his mother(who is an alcoholic and also a successful businesswoman). Ainsley (Halston Sage) as his TV reporter sister. Also, police characters joined as Lou Diamond Phillips(playing Gil Arroyo). The arresting officer of Martin Whitly, and has acted as a surrogate father of Malcolm).

Aurora Perrineau as Det. Dani Powell, Frank Harts, and Keiko Agena(as Dr. Edrisa Tanaka, an NYPD medical examiner seen having interest in Malcolm). It will be familiar faces for the demand of critics and fans!!!

Michael Sheen, as Malcolm’s incarcerated father and Martin Whitly, as serial killer The Surgeon. The season is getting more mystical notably after the fate of Phillips’s Lieutenant Gil Arroyo. He was a father figure to Malcolm— he was inflicted with a mortal stab wound in the finale episode.

FOX has renewed PRODIGAL SON for a second season, it was announced by Michael Thorn, President, Entertainment, FOX Entertainment. As of now, FOX has not announced when this amazing season is coming. But as most of the seasons are getting release dates. It is also expected that Prodigal Son Season 2 is getting released very soon as 22 episodes are already confirmed!!!! What to Expect in Prodigal Son Season 2?

Creators Chris Fedak and Sam Skalve will share their production work. Also they are the executive producers and writers for the show.As shown in the teaser Prodigal Son Season 2 will focus on Ainsley’s transformation and how it affects Malcolm. Malcolm who was —in the complete opposite manner was able to prove that he is not his father. Additionally, Fedak said back in late-April of the Season 2 plot and expectations:

“We always have ideas. We come at it on a seasonal perspective, this season was about Bright coming back to New York and opening up the mystery of the girl in the box and trying to understand that and in season two, there are things we want to do, they’re like chapters.”
