Is there a fourth season of the Ozark Netflix series?

Our favorite crime drama Ozark already finished three parts, with the third one premiered on March 27, 2020. Fans are excited to know if there is another renewal of Ozark. Ozark is not that fortunate because Netflix has not yet confirmed the show’s renewal. Usually, it takes more than two months to announce a renewal. The streaming platform Netflix will have to consider viewership, the popularity of the series to conclude. When it is found that the series is not profitable, then there will be no renewal. But when it comes to Ozark, there is no doubt, Ozark has a 90% possibility to get the fourth installment.

Jason Bateman, one of the main characters of Ozark, who plays Marty, says: “There is not an official pickup for season 4. We’re all working under the belief it will occur.” After the finale of season 3, fans expect more from Jason if the series is renewed.

Jason Bateman is mandatory. Laura Linney, Charlie Tahan, Julia Garner, Lisa Emery, Sofia Hublitz, and Skylar Gaertner also share the screen along with Jason. Showrunner Chris Mundy often gives clues on the new season but nothing is clear as of now. Fans will miss Helen Pierce, Ben Davis, and Sue because the cruel hitman Nelson assassinated all of them.

Chris Mundy states, “We’ve always talked about it as five seasons. It could be seven, it could be four, but that always seemed like a good number to us.”

When is the release of Ozark Season 4?

The expected date of release of the Ozark if it gets a renewal, is either late 2021 or the summer of 2022. There has been more than one year gap between the successive seasons. So the same trend will continue with Ozark also. Besides, the actors also have other schedules and will be busy once the pandemic situation is removed from the world.
