Is there a Homecoming Season 3? Know More!

Homecoming is an American psychological thriller TV series based on the podcast of the same title, created by Eli Horowitz and Micah Bloomberg who also serves as the writers and executive producers of the series along with Sam Esmail, Chad Hamilton, Julia Roberts, Alex Bumberg, Matt Lieber, and Chris Giliberti. The first season of the series was premiered on 2 November 2018 on Amazon Prime Video. Homecoming follows the story of a wellness company called Geist and their unorthodox program which is known as the Homecoming Initiative.

The first season of Homecoming received positive responses from audiences and critics worldwide, and after such great views Amazon Prime Video renewed the series for another season which premiered on 22 May 2020. After the amazing end of season one of Homecoming it didn’t seem like there was much story for second season but here we are with another season of Homecoming with 10 half and hour episodes, starring Janelle Monae, Hong Chau, Chris Cooper, and Stephan James. The ending of season two is kind of cliffhanger and open to fan speculations, and raises the question if there’ll be season three of Homecoming? There are plenty of things that are left to be explored in the next season. The first season was all about massive conspiracy around drug testing, veteran returning and personal relationships, the second season revolves around filling the gaps with first season.

There’s no official announcement from Amazon whether there will be another season of Homecoming or not. Back in 2017, Amazon renewed the two season of Homecoming, so, it is likely possible there will be a third season. The creators are also excited for another season with new, widening ideas for the plot line. According to the ratings and popularity of the second season of Homecoming, Amazon will come up with the decision of renewal. If there’s a third season renewal happening then fans have to wait awhile for it, as it won’t be releasing anytime before late 2021 or 2022.
