Is there a possible sequel for Extraction on Netflix?

Extraction a 2020 American action-thriller film starring Chris Hemsworth, Rudhraksh Jaiswal, Randeep Hooda, and many more. This film was released on April 24, 2020, by Netflix and received mixed reviews from critics.

Plot

The movie revolves around Tyler Rake, a black market mercenary who spends his days by trying to numb his pain by intake of liquor and pills.

He later gets a task where he’s hired to rescue Ovi Mahajan, son of a crime lord in Bangladesh. Ovi is kidnapped by his father’s main rival. This rescue operation, however, turns into a deadlier one. As the movie progresses we see that Tyler and Ovi’s relationship is more than just the rescue operation, Ovi learns about his deceased son who died a few years back due to medical illness.

Towards the end of the film, the viewers are left in a puzzled state wondering if Tyler makes through this mission or no. Ovi, who was successfully saved has now resumed his school back in Mumbai.

Another suspense the movie leaves is showing Ovi jump into a pool while he comes out he sees a figure standing at a distance and observing him, thee outline making him look like Tyler.

Why should there be a sequel?

As the movie leaves a lot of questions unanswered, Is Tyler alive? Is he alive and watching over Ovi? What about Ovi’s father who is still in prison?

As of now, there hasn’t been any update of any sequel for the film.
