Jack Ryan is a political spy thriller. The series is created by Tom Clancy based on his ‘Ryanverse’. Season 1 came on August 31, 2018, followed by the second season in 2019. The series was renewed for a third season in February 2019. This amazing series is produced by Carlton Cuse, Graham Roland, and John Krasinski. Jack Ryan is one of the few series that has created a revolution!

When Is Season 3 Expected To Release?

Based on the pattern of release of season 1 and 2, the third season is expected to release by the end of 2020 or early 2021. There’s a huge possibility that the release date might be pushed to late 2021 due to the current global pandemic.

The cast includes John Krasinski as Jack Ryan, Wendell Pierce as James Greer, Abbie Cornish as Dr. Cathy Mueller, Ali Suliman as Mousa Bin Suleiman, Dina Shihabi as Hanin Ali, Noomi Rapace as Harrier, Jordi Molla as Nicolas Reyes, Jovan Adepo as Marcus Bishop and Michael Kelly as Mike November.

NOTE: Spoilers Ahead!

Season 1 shows Jack as a former marine and a CIA amateur. He has a troubled past, so he retires from his fieldwork and settles for a stable, desk job. He is an analyst and deals with money. So, this way he follows the money which leads him to Suleiman. The last episode of season 1 is full of thrilling, nail-biting moments! It ends with Jack and Greer warning the Secret Service about Suleiman’s arrival in the country. Jack chases Suleiman to a nearby railway station and kills him before he can activate the “device”. The episode ends with Greer being promoted to deputy station chief in Moscow and Ryan replaces him as the head of T-FAD. This is to stop the terrorist attacks.

Season 2 is set in South America. It shows Jack in a political coup in Venezuela. It also shows a nice bond between Greer and Jack. In episode 8 of this season, “Strongman”, Jack goes to the Presidential Palace to retrieve Greer. When the polls are shutdown, violent protests take place outside the palace. Jack must now make a decision that could determine his future!

What To Expect In Season 3?

Season 3 could be filled with more drama and action than the previous 2 seasons. It could be more about the “future determining decision” that Jack makes! All we can do is speculate and wait for it.
