James Pratt – Hollywood Gold Award Winner Shares His Next Project

Hollywood fame has its own way of surprising celebrities. Sometimes you feel like it’s all work and no play and the next moment, you are up on the stage, receiving multiple awards. This same thing happened with our Australian actor, James Pratt.

After winning the Best Presenter award at the iHollywood Film Festival and the Best Director award at the Hollywood Golden Age Festival in August, James Pratt was one of this year’s standout winners at this year’s Hollywood Gold Awards.

Who is James Pratt?

When he was in school, James Pratt was more interested in surfing competitions than in the theatre, as he was born in Sydney, Australia. After graduating he studied at NIDA, the same theatre school that has produced actors such as Mel Gibson and Cate Blanchet, as well as Sam Worthington.

From there he began appearing on Australian television series and found himself being cast in more American projects than ever before.

His true interest is acting and directing, as seen by his latest project “Malibu Crush”, which was more of a personal project for James, in which he scripted, acted, and produced, which he claimed was more due to having to get it done since Covid regulations meant a lot of constraints in 2020.

“Malibu Crush” is described by James as a buddy comedy written in the spirit of a Farrelly Brothers production. The video has gotten positive feedback from Hollywood executives and producers, including Life Happens Producer Justin L Levine, who hailed it as a “A home run, with broad audience appeal”

The cast and crew pre-screening took place earlier this year, in May, at Fox Studios.

“Malibu Crush” is focused on two best friends who reside in Pasadena, Los Angeles, who claim to be highly competent film school students after getting a call from an ex-lover in order to swindle a trip to Sydney, Australia, and profess their love to her.

James Pratt and His Upcoming Projects:

James is a founding member of Mogul Productions and is preparing to host an amazing Hollywood first NFT event on the 16th of this month.

The event includes an auction of NFTs from deleted sequences in the film Reboot Camp (2020), as well as the films official premiere at the Cine Lounge in Hollywood on the 21^st Stars, Ja Rule, David Lipper, Nicole Aniston, David Koechner , and the rest of the cast will be attending.

Aside from that, James’s next picture is called Skyline Mist, and it is a Thriller set amid the cornfields of Kansas, with a New York investigator driving the community to its breaking point in pursuit of a UFO that is due to land. Dylan is set to be played by James.
