Joye Marelyn releases his newest single and music video “Woodlands”

Newly released single “Woodlands” composed by Joye Marelyn is a popular hip-hop/rap song with a pleasant chorus over a strong tempo. Joye himself wrote the song and crafted the music video. And was co-directed by Patrick Rodgers. As Joye Marelyn said, after giving an ear to the tunes created, he duly said, “the verses freely flowed out”. He was immediately transported to a night in the Texas countryside.

The music video was filmed in an Atlanta museum and beautifully created to match the single’s mysterious impression while still displaying vivid images to make the visual stand out of the crowd.

But who is Joye Marelyn? Joye Marelyn, also known as Kevin Joiner, is a rapper and hip-hop musician. Seeing his father play the guitar and piano as a child fuelled his initial passion for music. He became more fond of music as he grew older and found his potential for songwriting. And has always loved honing his craft and honing his name. He’s all been renowned for being unique and possessing a good sense of style. Joye Marelyn’s inventiveness compelled him to pursue shaping his art. He has appeared in Complex, Pigeon and Planes, Earmilk, and a Sprite Cranberry advert with LeBron James.
