Kajillionaire: Release Date, Plot and Updates!

Written and directed by Miranda July, Kajillionaire is an upcoming American comedy-crime movie. Universal Pictures will be distributing the film internationally and Focus Features received the U.S. rights for distribution. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival on January 25th, 2020, and since then it has created some buzz. The film is going to be one wacky and original comedy and viewers are looking forward to it. The film is all set to hit the theatres in September 2020.  The producers of this film are Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner and Youree Henley. Rarely do we get to see an authentic piece which merges heist and family ties into a singular frame, Kajillionaire looks like it is about to deliver the audience with something refreshing.

Release Date and Trailer of Kajillionaire:

Initially, the release date of the film was June 19, 2020. However, it is now set to release in theatres on 25th of September 2020.

What is it about?

The official synopsis of the film from Focus Features goes like “Con-artists Theresa (Debra Winger) and Robert (Richard Jenkins) have spent 26 years training their only daughter, Old Dolio (Evan Rachel Wood), to swindle, scam, and steal at every opportunity. During a desperate, hastily conceived heist, they charm a stranger (Gina Rodriguez) into joining their next scam, only to have their entire world turned upside down.”

Looks like we are about to encounter an authentic, wild and entertaining fun-ride which will also impart some valuable lessons about family bonds.

Who is in it?

Kajillionaire stars Golden Globe-nominated Evan Rachel Wood as Old Dolio Dyne, Richard Jenkins as Robert Dyne, Debra Winger as Theresa Dyne, Golden Globe winner Gina Rodriguez as Melanie Whitacre, Mark Ivanir as Stovik Mann, Patton Oswalt, Rachel Redleaf as Kelli Medford. We will also get to see Da’Vine Joy Randolph as Jenny, Diana-Maria Riva as Farida and Randy Ryan as Jimmy Whitacre.
