Hello, Readers! If you like Mary Elizabeth Winstead’s performance as Huntress in Birds of Prey but wish you could have seen her in action, you’ll want to watch Kate, a Netflix original film.

The titular character, played by Winstead, is an assassin with a vengeance against and a death card for the person who poisoned her. But there’s a catch: killing them will be the final thing she performs as a hitwoman as a result.

With poison pouring through her veins, she only has 24 hours to track down and murder her assailant before death phones her number and she becomes another victim of the terrible life she chose.

Kate: Release Date

On Friday, September 10, 2021, a new action-thriller will be published. The highly anticipated Netflix original film will premiere at 12:01 a.m. ET and 3:01 a.m. PT on December 1st, and it’s a film worth staying up late to watch.

What is this about?

Star Kate is a deadly assassin on a job in Tokyo, and she gets poisoned, Mary Elizabeth Winstead told EW about the film. She discovers she only has 24 hours to live before the poison kills her, so she embarks on a mission to discover who poisoned her and assassinate them before she dies. Along the way, she forms a friendship with a teen girl named Ani, and the two of them end up completing the task together. It’s a touching and brutal assassin story.

Who’s in it?

Kate is played by Mary Elizabeth Winstead, with Miku Martineau as Ani, the youngster with whom the assassin builds a bond in her quest for vengeance, and Varrick, Kate’s handler, played by Woody Harrelson. The following actors are in the cast for the film, according to What’s On Netflix, although the identities of their characters have yet to be revealed: Miyavi Lee Ishihara as a hitwoman, Jun Kunimura, Michiel Huisman, and Tadanobu Asano.
